하나님께서 우리 안에 주시는 기쁨으로 말씀에 즐거이 순종하며,
각자의 가정과 일터, 교회에서 하나님의 나라를 드러내는
공동체가 되기를 소망합니다.
We long to be a community where God’s joy leads us
to gladly obey His Word and to display His kingdom
in our homes, workplaces, and church.
조이 펠로우십은 오클라호마 시티 지역에서
한인과 영어권 성도들이 함께 예배하며 자라가는 다세대 교회입니다.
우리는 말씀과 기도, 복음의 교제를 통해 제자를 세우며,
그리스도의 가르침을 사모하고 그분의 인격과 삶을 닮아가기를 힘씁니다.
Joy Fellowship is a multi-generational church in the OKC area,
where Korean and English-speaking believers worship and grow together.
Through the Word, prayer, and gospel fellowship, we seek to make disciples,
longing for Christ’s teaching and growing to reflect His character and way of life.
우리 교회는
그리스도의 복음과 성경의 진리를 가르치는 말씀훈련,
그리스도의 마음과 성품을 본받는 인격훈련,
그리고 점진적 성화를 이루어가는 생활훈련을 통하여,
모든 지체들을 자신의 삶의 자리에서 하나님의 나라를 세워 가는
하나님의 자녀요 그리스도의 제자로 준비되게 한다.

Our church is committed to equipping every member to grow as a child of God and a disciple of Christ, building the Kingdom of God in their daily lives.
We do this through word training that teaches the Gospel of Christ and the truth of the Bible, spiritual formation training that develops and reflects the heart and character of Christ, and lifestyle training that practices progressive sanctification in everyday life.
As a Southern Baptist church, our church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of “The Baptist Faith and Message” ↗ , as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.
양연승 / Jason Yang
담임목사 / Senior Pastor
양연승 목사님은 1998년 미국에서 목회 사역을 시작한 이후,
성도들의 영적 성장과 점진적 성화를 돕는 사역에 헌신해 왔습니다.
그 가운데서도 특히 성도 한 사람 한 사람의 마음과 성품, 인간관계가 복음 안에서 변화되도록 돕는 상담 사역이
교회 안에 건강하게 자리 잡는 것을 중요하게 여기고 있습니다.
이를 위해
University of Oklahoma에서 상담학 석사 과정을,
Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary에서 성경적 상담학 박사 과정을 마쳤으며,
2025년 7월부터 Joy Fellowship Church에서 성도들의 마음과 영혼을 치유하고 돌보며
그리스도의 제자로 온전히 세워지는 목양과 제자훈련 사역을 이끌고 있습니다.
현재
Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary와 Spurgeon College에서
겸임 교수로서 성경적 상담학과 심리학을 가르치고 있으며,
ACBC(성경적상담사협회, Association of Certified Biblical Counselors)의
한국어 자격증 과정을 개설하기 위한 준비팀을 이끌고 있습니다.
Jason began his pastoral ministry in the United States in 1998
and has devoted himself to helping believers grow spiritually and live lives of progressive sanctification.
Among the various ministries he has been involved in, he places particular emphasis on
developing an effective counseling ministry within the local church,
which by God’s grace transforms the hearts, character, and relationships of individual believers.
To be better equipped for this work, Jason completed
a master’s degree in counseling at the University of Oklahoma
and a doctoral degree in biblical counseling at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Since July 2025, he has been serving at Joy Fellowship Church, leading the ministry of soul care and discipleship
so that God’s people might be healed, shepherded, and equipped as mature followers of Christ.
He also serves
as an adjunct professor of biblical counseling and psychology
at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Spurgeon College in Kansas City, Missouri,
and leads the preparation team for launching the Korean-language certification program
with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).
